The church at large could use some deliverance from some of it’s bad doctrines. I’m really thankful that I had people in my life who showed me Jesus and connected me to a God who isn’t a dictator in the sky. Unfortunately, many believers are still imprisoned to a dualistic view of God because that is what they were taught in church— a stark separation between the natural and the spiritual. It’s the divide between the secular and the sacred, the holy and the unholy. Is this not the very thing that Jesus came to set us free from?
God’s love for us is the foundation of our Christian life. His love is the most powerful and transformational force in our lives. It is everything! It is the fuel that we live off of and the very thing that “compels us” to bring this message to the world around us.
If we only know God through the natural realm around us, we will just barely scratch the surface of truly knowing him. Every single one of us is a world within a world. Our inner world is made up of thoughts, feelings, and imaginations. This is the sacred space where we all personally meet and commune with God.
Hunger is a gift from God, we just need to ask him for it. We as human beings have appetites for many things. We definitely don't lack in desires and cravings, it's just what we allow to satisfy us that will possess our hearts.
I had a dream last night of a global movement that was sweeping through the body of Christ all over the world. It was a movement of repentance. Great conviction was coming upon people like I've never seen before.
Pressures, anxieties, and trials have a way of assaulting our minds and robbing us of the joy we were made to live in. Jesus said if we don’t become like little children, we won’t see the kingdom of God.
